Where do I start? Well here goes,an insight into my little world,I’m 42 I have been struggling with my weight since I was 26 I used to be a typical “yo yo” dieter. I was putting the weight back on quicker than it came off the outcome was I was a few pounds heavier than when I started each time. Until I’ve ended up being overweight by almost 4 stones! I managed to start dieting again after a few false starts.

I had lost almost 2 stones again on my own but then the usual symptoms started!!

Loss of motivation

Low self esteem

Making excuses not to train

Eating junk

Wanting to give up

Then I had a life changing moment,I took the plunge and contacted Dave at

Activ8 Fitness,a personal trainer who came highly recommended for some 1-1 sessions. It has been over two years now that I have been having 1-1 training sessions with Dave and I have lost another 2 stones and also completed my first 10km race last year in 50 minutes.

I can now run 1 km in 3.30mins and 3 Km in 12 minutes. I am going for the Great Midlands Fun Run this year 2011,which is 13.5km and then maybe a Half Marathon later in the year. Next year I then want to attempt a Marathon.

I cannot believe that I only used to walk outside and on the treadmill and now I run to the gym where Activ8 Fitness is which is 5km – do a personal training

session with Dave or a Fit Camp and then run 5km back.

I am managing my ideal weight throughout and have been getting fitter and healthier along the way!! Dave has helped me change my eating habits and I can honestly say contacting Dave was the best decision I’ve ever made I cannot thank him enough !!!!!
